Western Plains Youth and Family Services, Inc. was incorporated under Oklahoma law as a nonprofit corporation. 

Our mission is to provide quality community based, education, preventative, counseling, shelter and 24 hour mobile crisis services in Northwest Oklahoma to individuals in need. Through our service offerings, we seek to enrich the lives of children, youth and families.

WPYFS reaches youth and families in Cimarron, Beaver, Texas, Harper, Ellis, Dewey, and Woodward Counties. We have over 80 employees delivering services through our main office in Woodward, satellite offices in Guymon and Laverne, a six-bed juvenile detention center in Elk City and an eight-bed center in Woodward. Our Woodward facility has a ten-bed emergency temporary youth shelter and a mobile crisis unit to respond to emergencies.
